The Team

The CoreRFID Management Team are all experienced business professionals. Together their involvement with RFID solutions ranges from software development and systems integration to hardware sourcing and supply of complete turnkey applications.

	Jim Ryder : Operations Director Jim has worked in the RFID industry for over 10 years. His career led from British Steel to the Inland Revenue before joining Mannings Ltd, an engineering company, to run their RFID business. At Mannings he completed the management buyout that created CoreRFID Ltd. Jim's broad business background has helped to establish CoreRFID as a provider of RFID systems that understands the broad range of applications to which the technology is put. He graduated from the University of Lancaster and gained an honors degree in Mathematics and Information Systems.
	Richard Harrison : Technical Sales Director Richard has worked in RFID sales for 8 years delivering complete solutions for companies including BAA, Bovis, Galliford Try & Morgan Est and Xerox. A Computer Science graduate, he leads the consultative, collaborative, sales approach used by CoreRFID to help make sure its customers achieve their goals for their RFID solutions.
	Munzi Ali : Technical Director Munzi joined Mannings RFID after gaining his BSc in Computer Science, in 2000. Since then he has acquired a wide knowledge of RFID technology and applications. Munzi provides the technical direction of the business and handles the delivery of projects ensuring implementation of complete solutions that bring together RFID tags, RFID readers, RFID antennas, software systems and data management.
	Terry Allen : Chairman Terry brings to CoreRFID his experience of over 40 years working with corporate clients and the public sector. He has a strong background in the management of IT businesses for Philips, Honeywell Information Systems, Ocella and Anite including three business leading roles as managing director. Terry acts as Executive Chairman for CoreRFID, helping the business to drive its business plan and manage its finances.

Our Approach

CoreRFID works to meet the needs of customers in a range of ways; as a supplier of RFID tags readers and other components; helping in the design of RFID based applications; delivering complete turn-key solutions and working with other software providers.

The RFID Shop

CoreRFID operates the RFID Shop, an on-line supply centre for all things RFID where those who know what they need can have their needs met. The RFID Shop supplies customers all over the world.

Pilots, Feasibility, Solution Design

As a company that has worked with all the leading providers of RFID technologies, CoreRFID is ideally positioned to help business to assess and plan the introduction of RFID technology. CoreRFID supplies the technology needed for pilots and our consultants can work alongside our customers' own IT professionals helping them to determine the best way to integrate RFID into existing applications. CoreRFID is noted for the way we have helped customers to implement trial systems, working with them to assess the suitability of particular RFID technologies in particular applications and environments. Applications & Applications Development

CoreRFID has created a range of software solutions that make the implementation of RFID based systems quick, easy and low risk. One example is the PDC system for asset tracking and maintenance management. You can learn about it here or find out more about this and our other solutions here.

CoreRFID software solutions use the Microsoft .Net Framework, making it easy to integrate our applications with other back office systems.

We also provide turnkey application development services for RFID based systems, working with customer IT staff or other software suppliers as required to create, implement and support the complete, integrated, operational system.

Custom Tag Development

Our services and capabilities extend to the design, development and supply of custom designs of RFID tags. Whether simply providing engraving or overprinting for tag housings so that they can be branded to the customer's specific application or developing custom housings to make them suitable for a specific use or designing custom chips, CoreRFID can help.

As a supplier of complete RFID based systems, CoreRFID understands what is needed to make solutions work. Our Organisation

CoreRFID was formerly known as Mannings RFID, part of the Mannings engineering group. In July 2007 the management team successfully completed a management buyout to create a business focused on the needs of RFID technology users. CoreRFID retains the staff, know-how and intellectual property of Mannings RFID. The CoreRFID team of experienced engineers and its sales and administration centre are based in Warrington, in the North West of England.

CoreRFID has been has been assessed and recognised as having achieved the Investors in People Standard.
