Lifting specialist launches condition monitoring app

With 45 years’ experience, Hoistech – a lifting solutions specialist – have consistently navigated the tricky world of condition monitoring and compliance with their clients.

Now the Dublin-based business has worked with CoreRFID to develop its own app-based visual management tool which allows users to monitor and report on the condition of any asset.

Compliance by Hoistech provides a platform where all stakeholders can effortlessly communicate about an individual asset, its whereabouts, its condition, any work scheduled and the status of works in progress.

The launch of Compliance is CoreRFID’s latest project for Hoistech. The companies have worked together since 2010 to create solutions to manage inspection reporting and improve safety.

Simplicity is at the very core of Compliance. Users simply scan the QR code on their asset to launch the app, then intuitively-designed questionnaires walk them through the inspection process. Pictures can be taken without the need to change screen and attach automatically. The app automatically geolocates the user and asset using the phone’s GPS system while the dashboard gives a clean overview of all asset performance.

Anything flagged by a field user is immediately brought to the relevant individual’s attention. All interactions thereafter are automatically recorded. As no two businesses are the same, Compliance allows users to customise the way assets are managed and create an infinite number of tailored questions.

Munzi Ali of CoreRFID says: “Whether users need to record asset information as a statutory obligation, of they are managing a fleet of assets or just need to know their team are paying due care and attention, Compliance brings the information to their fingertips. Having accurate reliable data at your disposal allows them to reliably manage their assets, their team and workload.”
